My reason to prefer Izmir University of Economics was the fact that it was recommended by many people and being of one of the best ranking universities in Izmir and even in Turkey. I graduated from the Department of International Relations and EU in 2008 as a high honor student. At the same time, I completed the minor program in International Economics by using the opportunities provided by my university, and I had the opportunity to study for 6 months in the field of European Studies at Maastricht University in the Netherlands as part of the Erasmus program. In my last year, I was just entering the finals when I received a job offer from Ernst & Young (EY) Company that I applied for to start after my graduation.
