I had the privilege of attending the first graduation ceremony of Izmir University of Economics when I graduated from MBA program in 2003. When I was searching for graduate programs, I came across news about the establishment of our school and decided to attend the introduction meeting and enrolled in MBA program the first semester it started. I believe that receiving training from both estimable teachers in academia and experts from different sectors provided me a different point of view on business world and management. I started my career as Project and Services Specialist at NETSIS in Izmir and worked on analyzing customer business processes, later on I worked as SAP Software Specialist at Yaşar Holding. During that time, I took part as founding member and bookkeeper at Alumni Association. Since 2007 I worked as Analyst/ Software Specialist, and then Software Development and Application Services Manager at Egebimtes. I thought it was about time to put my experience into practice and established my own business, Aruna Yazılım Danışmanlık (Software and Consultancy) at the end of 2014. It is very pleasing to see increasing numbers of IUE graduates in many of the companies I work with. 6 students graduated in 2003 and that number is increasing each day. I wish good luck to all fellow graduates and students.
