Upon completing elementary and middle school in Switzerland, I continued my high school and university education in Izmir, and I graduated from Department of Economics (English program), Ege University in 2010. Since I was raised with two cultures, I enrolled in Izmir University of Economics in 2012, which I thought was suitable for my world view and would be able to contribute to my career plans, would benefit me not only in Turkey but also in the international arena. I believe that taking courses from estimable academics in master’s program, had a positive effect on our ideas regarding business world and on our perspectives most importantly. I worked in the Chemistry Sector of one of Turkey's leading Holdings while continuing the graduate courses. After I graduated as the top Master’s Programs student in 2014, I started to work in the Automotive sector. In the second half of 2016, I moved back to Switzerland and completed one more year of training in sales. I am still working as an Account Manager in an international holding in the Automotive sector in Germany. My advice to prospective students who will apply to Izmir University of Economics is to collect information about the field they will choose in advance and to organize their career plans consciously. If they use their time effectively and make good use of the opportunities and self-educate in addition to university, they will benefit in the future.
