After graduating from IUE Department of Industrial Systems Engineering, Esra Sarıhan worked as a marketing manager in climatization industry for a year as she completed her Master’s degree in Finance Economics at Izmir University of Economics. After that, Sarıhan, along with her sister Melis Sarıhan established the e-trade site named, “baskasindarama.com” in 2016.

Design by Nektar Ege Altıntoprak, Graduate of Department of Industrial Design, Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, Izmir University of Economics (IUE), came in first place in Turkey at the “Falling Walls Lab” contest organized by German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). The “sleep tracking device”, consisting of a smart alarm and an ankle band for children will prevent bed-wetting.

Cansu Sönmez, Graduate of Department of Sociology, Izmir University of Economics (IUE), will continue her successful journey in education in Italy following her studies in England. Upon completing her Master’s in Criminology with a scholarship at University of Plymouth, England, Sönmez will start her Ph.D. with a full scholarship at the Gran Sasso Science Institute in Italy.

Didem Pehlivanoğlu, Graduate of Department of Psychology, Izmir University of Economics (IUE) has been awarded APA (American Psychological Association) Science Directorate's Dissertation Research Award 2017 for her thesis on perception, attention and memory processes in old age.
