The journey I started as one of the first students of Izmir University of Economics in 2001 has been one of the most meaningful turning points of my life. After 4 full years, I became one of the first graduates of the Faculty of Business Administration in 2005. The education I received, the experiences I gained and the contributions of my esteemed professors have been the most important force that carried me to success in different sectors. Even during my years as a senior executive in one of the most strategic ministries of our state, there was always the warmth of Izmir and what my University contributed to me. Staying away from my hometown was never something I wanted to do. Now, I am exactly where I should be! Returning to Izmir University of Economics as Vice Secretary General is not only a career step for me, but also an opportunity to repay a debt of gratitude. It is an indescribable happiness to contribute to the future of our University under this roof, which I have always been proud to be a graduate of, and to work as part of the same team with my esteemed professors who have contributed to me.
