At the same time, I completed the minor program in International Economics by using the opportunities provided by my university, and I had the opportunity to study for 6 months in the field of European Studies at Maastricht University in the Netherlands as part of the Erasmus program. When I think back about my life since the day I took the first step at Izmir University of Economics as a student, I always remember the importance of that first step. When I started my education in the Department of Business Administration in 2005, I knew that there was a lot I wanted to do with my interest and enthusiasm, but when I look back now, I did not imagine this much. I think that I spent my undergraduate years as actively as possible, as I decided to spend a period of my education in France with the Erasmus Student Exchange program in the preparatory class.

I got into Department of Economics, Izmir University of Economics with a full scholarship in 2010. The main reasons why I chose our university, which I had the opportunity to get to know better during Career Days, are having a qualified academic staff, providing a second foreign language opportunity and having extensive social opportunities. After a year of preparatory study and improving my level of English, which was at the most basic level, I started doing a double major in Mathematics in the second year of my undergraduate education.
