I got into Department of Industrial Engineering with full scholarship in 2007 and graduated in 2012. Having the opportunity to take a course at the Vaasan Yliopista - University of Vaasa in Finland with Erasmus for a semester has contributed a lot to both my personal development and my resume. The medium of instruction being English at the University and being offered an education quality at international standards helped me adapt to the Erasmus process in a short time. Thanks to the summer internships required by our department, it was a great opportunity to get to know the business life and to step into engineering in the first years of the University. After my graduation, I worked as an engineer at Japan Tobacco International and Fokker GKN companies. Now, I work as a Production Controller at Amcor Specialty Cartons, which is also a global company, and I support the Finance Department on cost analysis part-time.

2017 - Architecture Graduate
In 2013, 19 years since my birth in Germany, I decided to settle in Izmir, Turkey by getting an "Abitur" diploma. Attending a university in Turkey, being useful to my country and people was my biggest dream since I was little. I started to realize this dream with "Izmir University of Economics". The main reasons for me to choose Izmir University of Economics were the successful education staff as well as the medium of education being completely English.
