I crossed paths with Izmir University of Economics on an autumn day in 2004. It was the place where I had the best four years of my life; and established fine friendships in addition to achieving academic competencies. I graduated from Department of Business Administration in 2008 and was accepted to a master’s program at University of Hertfordshire, London the same year with references from my instructors in order to further my education and have experience.

“How many public relations and advertising departments are there so that they take their students around the leading agencies of our country under the name of Media Trip, introduce the sector to them or host the leading names of the sector in their classes every week. These were good opportunities for us, and I believe I made good use of this opportunity for myself. Because I first met my first boss on a media trip in 2010.”

I graduated from the Department of Business Administration in 2009 as a high honor student. I have undertaken tasks in the field of global supply chain in international and domestic companies. I am currently working as Supply Chain Manager at Stern-Wywiol Groupe. In fact, how important is the department of graduation or the position you have in business life?

As of the summer of 2005, I was undecided between choosing a university in Istanbul or Izmir. I decided to choose a university in Izmir because I love the city I live in and thought that universities in Izmir could contribute a lot to my future career. When I started to research universities in Izmir, Izmir University of Economics had come to the fore both in terms of its teaching staff and its vision. In my meetings with IEU students at that time, I heard that everyone was extremely satisfied with the university.
