Yağız Şenoğlu, student at Graphics Design Program, Izmir University of Economics (IUE), started to work at Leo AR, a company operating in the field of "augmented reality" in Silicon Valley in the USA, which is known as the technology center of the world. Şenoğlu, who has attracted the attention of the world-famous company with his graphic design works so far, achieved great success by getting into business life before he even graduated. In his new job he started online in Turkey, as well as graphic design, Şenoğlu also does video editing to be used in social media. Şenoğlu said, “Starting to work in such a well-known company made me proud and very happy. My goal is to develop myself quickly and build my own company.”
Yağız Şenoğlu (21), who lives in Karşıyaka district of Izmir, has proved himself with his designs and special works he made in the Graphics Design Program of the IUE Vocational School, where he is educated with 50% scholarship. With the support and guidance of his lecturers, Şenoğlu quickly climbed the stairs of success, being awarded for his efforts, he got a job in a world-famous company before graduating.
Stating that the founding partner of Leo AR company contacted him, and the business process started in this way, Şenoğlu said, “I frequently share my designs and works on my social media account. My recruitment process actually started like this. The founding partner of Leo AR company reached me on social media and offered to work together. I forwarded him some of the works I have done so far. They liked it very much. Then I attended the job interview online. As a result of the meeting with the founding partner of the company, I was hired. It's been a week since I started working online. I am happy and proud. I think I have made a good start regarding my career goal. My goal is to start my own company in the future. Of course, I have to improve myself for this. I realize I have a long way to go. I see it as an opportunity to take part in Leo AR. I will do my best to make the most of this.”
