It seems that my story started with the tape measure that my teacher hung around my neck while going to primary school. My friends at school representing While my classmates were selected as engineers, doctors or teachers for a school play I cried for being selected a tailor. Even if I was angry with my teacher for this choice that day, the first step of the profession I was going to do years later was taken in those years.

The jewelry, that I made to linger during summer holidays while I was in middle school, became my first designs. When the accessories I made for my leisure time were sold at a boutique in Came, I decided to study in this field and enter the sector. The skirt with a ruffled waist we learned how to sew in the sewing lessons at the university, initiated the brand “Rococo Design” that we founded together with my friend Naz. Rococo Design has become the step we reached people. While we were still studying,  we started to make sales and fashion shows under the name of Rococo design. I opened my first fashion house in 2010 with the support of my family in Bostanlı. I decided to move my fashion house to Alsancak as of 2012. I think that Alsancak was the right place for my designs. Laces, dusty colors, clothes that give a feeling of life ... creates the brand "Yeliz Cengiz". My further goals are to further develop and improve the Yeliz Cengiz brand, which designs its products with hand labor for those who want to be different and special today, when everything has become monotonous and fabricated.
