I completed my bachelor's degree in International Trade and Finance and Business Administration (double major) at Izmir University of Economics. After my undergraduate education, I started a master's program in Finance at Lund University in Sweden. Since I was very satisfied with this program, I decided to pursue a doctorate in Business Finance at the same university. After completing my doctorate, I received an offer from Utrecht University in the Netherlands and moved to the Netherlands. I worked as an assistant professor in finance at Utrecht School of Economics.I am currently continuing my academic career as a docent (associate professor) at KU Leuven University in Belgium. Izmir University of Economics offers high-quality education thanks to its strong academic staff and contributes to students' personal development by providing rich social opportunities. I believe that the multifaceted and high-quality education I received at IUE played a major role in launching my current career.
