I started my undergraduate study in Tourism Management at Dokuz Eylül University in 2004. But three years have passed by the time I started to make different plans for my future. I can honestly say that taking the OSS exam again and being admitted to Izmir University of Economics has been a turning point in my life even though I have lost all that time. A real milestone…If I haven’t done that I would be engaged in a profession I really did not enjoy. Instead, I am working as a Comptroller at Ministry of Finance. Even though my personal endeavors had a lot to do with where I was, I could never underestimate the support the University, my friends, and my teachers gave me. I am grateful to them all. I am grateful to the University because it taught me what to think. I am grateful to my teachers because they taught me how to think, and finally I am grateful to my friends because they taught me how to think together. As a result, I learned about learning. I can sum up four years in a single sentence like that. I think this is very important since learning will always be part of our lives. I got the biggest cheating for life and graduated.
