I graduated from Department of Psychology, Izmir University of Economics in 2011 as a high honor student. My assistantships, in line with the opportunities provided by my department, in IUE Psychology Laboratory and in the courses of academics who are influential in their field prepared me well-equipped for life after graduation. Right after my graduation, I was accepted to the Cognitive Sciences master's program at Middle East Technical University where I graduated from in 2013, and I had the chance to do a PhD in Clinical and Cognitive Neuroscience at University of Southampton in England with a full scholarship. After receiving my doctorate degree in 2017, I carried out my post-doctoral research at the same university. I worked at Unilever UK & Ireland as the Science and Technology Manager responsible for Cognitive/Experimental Psychology and Neuroscience between 2018 and 2021. I have been working as an Assistant Professor at Roehampton University in London since 2021. I think that the strong theoretical and practical education I received at Izmir University of Economics, extra-curricular activities, and the support of academics contributed to my master's and doctoral admissions and my preparation for my current business life.
