I received my bachelor’s with a major in Architecture and a minor in Interior Architecture and Environmental Design from the Izmir University of Economics (IUE) in 2015. The most important factors that led me to select IUE was the distinguished professors, the courses being taught in English, and the opportunity to choose Italian as my 2nd foreign language during my degree. Thanks to my minor degree, I was selected to do an internship in Japan where I gained valuable experience and connections with professionals from different cultures and backgrounds. After graduating, I worked in the design, tender and construction phases of the retail and housing projects in FMB Architecture, Construction, and Project Management.

My interest in the field of health and my desire to work in health institutions played a big role in choosing my program. I started my education at Izmir University of Economics in 2005 as one of the first students at Department of Industrial Systems Engineering (now Department of Industrial Engineering). Of course I had doubts about choosing a new department of a relatively young university, but, when I was convinced that the University offered a high quality education system and teaching staff based on the needs of the region and the country, my worries were replaced by a different excitement. In addition to being raised by internationally recognized academics during my 4 year undergraduate education, it was also rewarding to see our department maturing and improving along with us and being a part of it has always been a point where I felt the advantage.

I became an Izmir University of Economics student by enrolling in the Civil Aviation Cabin Services Associate Degree Program as a result of my preferences in 2014. I packed my luggage and set off from Gaziantep to Izmir. Of course, I haven't been to Izmir before. I started my university life. We had a very nice class and teachers.
