Combining my close interest in technology and its derivatives since my childhood and the international profile curriculum of Izmir University of Economics, I saw the Computer Engineering department as the perfect fit for me and I graduated in 2018. Within the month of my graduation, I came to Istanbul and participated in a consultancy program organized by the global-scale SAP company and finished the program with the first place.

I didn't regret my decision at all when I came to the University. In my first year at Izmir University of Economics, I started to improve myself not only academically but also socially by taking advantage of the numerous opportunities that the school has offered. When I was working at the Student Affairs unit of the University, I visited high schools in different cities with our esteemed educators and represented our school. I added another language to my resume by improving my German education, which started in high school, at the University. I did volunteer work in well-known institutions such as Izmir Chamber of Commerce, International Cotton Advisory Committee, Aegean Exporters' Associations.

As of the summer of 2005, I was undecided between choosing a university in Istanbul or Izmir. I decided to choose a university in Izmir because I love the city I live in and thought that universities in Izmir could contribute a lot to my future career. When I started to research universities in Izmir, Izmir University of Economics had come to the fore both in terms of its teaching staff and its vision. In my meetings with IEU students at that time, I heard that everyone was extremely satisfied with the university.
