I started working as an industrial designer at Günsel Automobile firm of Near East University in 2018. First I was in the interior design team of the B9 vehicle. In the following period, I became the interior team leader and had the opportunity to work on dashboard, center console, interior color and pattern. Later, I took over the project management of an SUV concept vehicle called J9 and we had the opportunity to introduce this concept at launching. I am currently working as an industrial design team leader. As a company, we are currently continuing R&D work at the factory. As the first and domestic electric car company in Cyprus, we continue to work with our fully Turkish design team with the aim of starting the market sales as of 2022. Since I am currently in a team with industrial designer friends who graduated from other schools, I can easily say that the education we received was very satisfying and provided us with opportunities in various branches. Particularly the drawing-oriented design progress, indispensable part of the automotive industry, and getting into the project with a good benchmark was an element that we experienced in studio education course every year at the school. It offers the opportunity to gain experience in areas such as interface design, animation, biomaterials where the industrial designer is not only stuck in product design before graduation by providing pre-exercise that is not available in the industry.
