2017 - Elderly Care Graduate
After completing the child development and education department in high school in 2015, I learned that Izmir University of Economics offered child development program that year and I qualified to enroll in child development program with a full scholarship. In 2017, I graduated from my school as a high honor student, and top student in the program. Then I continued my undergraduate education at Istanbul University. At the same time, after my graduation, I volunteered actively in various education-oriented associations. I have given training in various institutions, especially specializing in media literacy and cyberbullying in education. Following that, in a period of about 1 year, I had the opportunity to develop myself in this field by volunteering with Dr. Özgür Bolat in a team formed on parent-student education, by writing many opinion and advice articles and short notices. Throughout my education life, I had the opportunity to do research in many fields with the contribution of my school, and I had a fun and enjoyable education life. At the same time, I completed my semester and summer internships at İzmir Özel Türk High School. After working in a private kindergarten for 1 year, I have been working as a Prep Class teacher for 6-year-olds at İzmir Özel Türk High School for 5 years. While researching Flipped Learning training in 2011, I received the "Flipped learning technology selection" training, and I have had the opportunity to create and lead many different projects in my professional life. At the same time, I had the opportunity to teach and share my knowledge in many fields such as EÇEV creative innovative teacher seminars. With the pandemic period, after learning many posts about how education will be conducted online, I had the opportunity to gain a lot of experience, especially on how to advance with technology in education. As part of my profession, I have the opportunity to research many approaches and learn about their applicability in the classroom. Of course, the fact that the institution I work for is innovative and always open to these ideas contributes greatly to the fact that I have learned to question and think critically.
