I had worries and indecision about which school to choose in 2013 when I passed the university entrance exam. As a result of my research, I decided that the most suitable university for me would be Izmir University of Economics. I graduated from the Faculty of Business, Department of Political Science and International Relations in 2018. Throughout my education life, I had the opportunity to improve myself in many subjects such as language, self-discipline, entrepreneurship and research competence thanks to my school. In my last year, I was awarded a 10-day scholarship in the Modal European Union (European Union Model) simulation program within the European Union. While applying to this program, our professor, Prof. Çiğdem Kentmen had a lot of support. This simulation program gave me the chance to see the decision-making process in the European Parliament, which was explained theoretically in our school, in practice. I found this program as a result of my research, but I can say that the training I received gave me this research competence. One of the most important things for this program was English proficiency. I think Izmir University of Economics has a very strong language education.
