I graduated from Izmir University of Economics, Department of Translation and Interpretation in 2008 as the second top student in the department. In 2023, I graduated from Dokuz Eylul University English translation and interpretation master's program. In my fourth year at Izmir University of Economics, I served as an interpreter at the International Food, Nutrition and Cancer Symposium Panel organized by Ege University Atatürk Vocational School of Health. In the same year, I was assigned as a simultaneous interpreter at the 8th International Symposium on Language, Literature and Phraseology, organized by Izmir University of Economics, and also at the “First Aid Practices in Daily Life Accidents and Injuries” Seminar organized by Izmir University of Economics. After graduating, I worked as an English Instructor at Ege University School of Foreign Languages for four years. I taught grammar, reading, listening and writing classes here. I have been working as a translator and interpreter at the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Foreign Relations Branch Office since 2013. I particularly benefit from the translation of diplomacy texts and European Union texts courses I took at the University. I always feel that I am one step ahead thanks to the good and quality education I received at the university. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all my professors, especially Neslihan Yetkiner, who gave us this very good education and never stopped supporting us.
