I enrolled in Department of International Relations and European Union, Izmir University of Economics in 2007. I graduated in the honors list in 2012. Until my graduation, I performed internship at "Make a Wish" association, a social awareness project carried out by Arkas, Provincial Directorate of Environment and Forestry and Sabancı University. At the same time, I had the chance to attend the language school in France and the European Union education organized by the ICD in Brussels. What I learned for 5 years at Izmir University of Economics helps me in my PhD education, which continues today. The academic studies and assignments we had during the semesters still guide me today. We were shaped by the content of the lessons and the originality and perspectives of our teachers. After graduating in 2012, I did my master's degree in Political Science and International Relations at "Yeditepe University". During this time, I worked as an Online Marketing Specialist at a German company, Zooplus, for 1.5 years and as a Pricing Supervisor at Metglobal for 4.5 years. My professors, who guided me in my 20s, are the greatest sources of me choosing Gender Studies in my doctoral program today. I gained the ability to express myself and to defend and discuss the thoughts I believe freely at Izmir University of Economics. In addition to my doctoral studies in political science, I continue to work as a Budgeting Specialist at Defacto. I can't thank my teachers enough for all they’ve done.
