I graduated from Izmir University of Economics, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Translation and Interpretation in 2009 as a high honor student, which I started in 2005. After a while, I moved to Istanbul and worked as a translator at DenizBank Headquarters for 7 years, both translating and simultaneous interpreting. I have been working as a translator for the Turkish Tuborg firm for 2.5 years currently. I chose to specialize in law and finance. I had the benefit of the lessons I took from academics who are specialized in their fields. During my education at Izmir University of Economics, I took courses in a wide variety of fields such as economics, medicine, literature, and sociology and I enjoyed this in my business life. I had the chance to use my second foreign language a lot as well. During my education, I had the opportunity to work as a one-on-one simultaneous interpreter in many conferences and meetings through my school. Therefore, my transition to business life has been very easy. A good university plays a vital role in building the future of a person. I do a job that I love very much, and I have seen that my choice is correct, and I recommend it to you, too.
