Life at university is nothing compared to high school or anything else. When I chose Izmir University of Economics in 2009, I asked myself if I made the right decision. 5 years were ahead of me to see if I made the right decision or not. I’ve always tried my best at Izmir University of Economics and became a successful student. I did not qualify for any scholarships when I first enrolled at school but my hard work paid off and I qualified for 50% merit scholarship. In addition to courses in Public Relations and Advertising, I’ve taken many other electives from variety of fields including Business and Software Engineering.

After graduating as one of the first graduates of Izmir University of Economics, Department of International Relations and EU in 2005, I completed my master's degree in European Studies at Boğaziçi University. Due to my desire to work in private sector, in 2007, I started my career at Arkas Holding's Communications Directorate. Later, I took on various roles in the 'corporate communications' departments of CMS Jant and Turcas Petrol, Turkey’s best family run companies.

In my first year at Izmir University of Economics, I started to improve myself not only academically but also socially by taking advantage of the numerous opportunities that the school has offered. When I was working at the Student Affairs unit of the University, I visited high schools in different cities with our esteemed educators and represented our school. I added another language to my resume by improving my German education, which started in high school, at the University.
