Among my goals before starting university were to receive a comprehensive and technically competent engineering education at world standards, to continue my career abroad and to gain experience in the business world before graduation. Among the most important reasons why I chose Izmir University of Economics were its competent and experienced academic staff, the scholarship opportunities it offers, the fact that the medium of instruction being English, the opportunities to learn second and third foreign languages, the recognition of the University at home and abroad, and the many opportunities that open up to the business world.
