As Izmir University of Economics Alumni Relations Office, we continue alumni information update activities to strengthen our communication with you, our esteemed alumni. By expanding the scope of what we regularly do every year, we decided to conduct a survey this year to have more information about you and to learn about your expectations about the University.

The information requested by you in the survey will be used to support our graduates for career planning, to monitor graduate success, and to create an alumni network. In addition, they will be maintained by the Alumni Relations Office to support education, teaching and research studies and research on social, cultural, and academic activities of the University. 2017 - Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Graduate

Choosing a university and department is a difficult process for every student. I had only one dream in high school, which was being an Interior Architect. I decided to make this dream come true at Izmir University of Economics.. I graduated from IUE Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design in 2017 as a high honor student. I had the opportunity to study by winning a merit scholarship during my undergraduate education. I gained a lot of experience thanks to my university and department.

2006 - Business Administration Graduate

I started my academic life as one of the first students of the university in 2001. Throughout our education life, we have had valuable teachers who have a reputation in their own fields, worked in certain areas of business and taught us to open every door. Izmir University of Economics is a turning point in my life, where I assumed the presidency of the student council in 2005-2006, and in the following years, where I took part in the management of the alumni association for a few years.

I graduated from 'Tourism and Hotel Management' as an Honor Student and Top Student in the Department in 2006. The experience I gained in the Anemon Hotels group, where I worked while I was studying, opened the doors of The Marmara Hotel in Istanbul - Taksim as soon as I graduated. After working there for a year, I left my job to work in a chain hotel in the Alps of Switzerland.

2008 - Computer Engineering Graduate

Murat Yatağan is a proven product marketing and growth strategy leader with over 12 years of experience in product management, web analytics, search engine optimization and marketing, app store optimization, conversion rate optimization, and user experience.
