As Izmir University of Economics Alumni Relations Office, we continue alumni information update activities to strengthen our communication with you, our esteemed alumni. By expanding the scope of what we regularly do every year, we decided to conduct a survey this year to have more information about you and to learn about your expectations about the University.

The information requested by you in the survey will be used to support our graduates for career planning, to monitor graduate success, and to create an alumni network. In addition, they will be maintained by the Alumni Relations Office to support education, teaching and research studies and research on social, cultural, and academic activities of the University. Utku Utkan
2003 - Business Administration Master Program Graduate

I had the privilege of attending the first graduation ceremony of Izmir University of Economics when I graduated from MBA program in 2003. When I was searching for graduate programs, I came across news about the establishment of our school and decided to attend the introduction meeting and enrolled in MBA program the first semester it started. I believe that receiving training from both estimable teachers in academia and experts from different sectors provided me a different point of view on business world and management.

I graduated from the Department of International Relations and EU in 2008 as a high honor student. At the same time, I completed the minor program in International Economics by using the opportunities provided by my university, and I had the opportunity to study for 6 months in the field of European Studies at Maastricht University in the Netherlands as part of the Erasmus program. In my last year, I was just entering the finals when I received a job offer from Ernst & Young (EY) Company that I applied for to start after my graduation.
