The series, which will consist of 37 talks in total, will help young people to shape their career goals correctly and to obtain real information about the professions they are interested in. The Alumni Talks will be open to everyone, thus reaching thousands of people. The information about the guests and the content of the talks will be shared on IUE's website and social media accounts.
WE ATTACH GREAT IMPORTANCE
Özge Kulaçoğlu, IUE Alumni Relations Office Coordinator, who brought the 'Alumni Talks' event series to life, stated that they attach great importance to the project and aim to contribute to the youth in Turkey. Kulaçoğlu said, “Our university is a very big community with 20 thousand graduates. 500 of the graduates continued their careers abroad. We have many graduates who are the favorites of companies operating in the international arena and who write success stories by establishing their own businesses in our country. Of course, they worked very hard to reach this level, it was difficult from time to time, they went through many hardships. We wanted our graduates, who set an example in every aspect, and we are proud of, to convey all their experiences to the youth.”
GUESTS FROM DIFFERENT FIELDS
Kulaçoğlu continued as follows: “In ‘Alumni Talks’, we will host a total of 37 graduates, 24 of whom are in our country and 13 of them abroad. We aim to complete the meetings, which will start in the first week of February, in about 2 months. IUE graduates, who will be joining us from the United States, Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, England, Sweden, Hungary, Poland, and Australia, as well as our country, will share very important information for students and expand their horizons in terms of future planning. At this point, we chose graduates who are active in different fields, and invited them by collaborating with 15 student clubs in the University. We are looking forward for the participation of all students in the Alumni Talks.”
