I got into Department of Economics, Izmir University of Economics with a full scholarship in 2010. The main reasons why I chose our university, which I had the opportunity to get to know better during Career Days, are having a qualified academic staff, providing a second foreign language opportunity and having extensive social opportunities. After a year of preparatory study and improving my level of English, which was at the most basic level, I started doing a double major in Mathematics in the second year of my undergraduate education.

Later, I took on various roles in the 'corporate communications' departments of CMS Jant and Turcas Petrol, Turkey’s best family run companies.

The experience I gained in the Anemon Hotels group, where I worked while I was studying, opened the doors of The Marmara Hotel in Istanbul - Taksim as soon as I graduated. After working there for a year, I left my job to work in a chain hotel in the Alps of Switzerland.
