Suna Kayra Paköz, a graduate of Izmir University of Economics (IUE) Department of Visual Communication Design, was included in the design team of the World Cup, which will be hosted by Qatar in 2022. Being invited to the country by the “Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy”, which is affiliated with the state of Qatar, Paköz will prepare special designs for the giant organization, which will be the scene of great enthusiasm and excitement. Paköz, who will be in Qatar for about 3 years, will work in many different fields from stadium dressings to digital and printed advertisements of tournaments.
Suna Kayra Paköz, who dreamed of becoming a designer since childhood with the guidance of her mother who is an art teacher and her father who is an advertiser, was placed in the IUE Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, Department of Visual Communication Design in 2012. Paköz, who had 50% scholarship throughout her studies, proved her difference with her studies, and has graduated as the top student of the department in 2017.

Carrying her academic success to her business life, Paköz continued her development in visual brand identity design and applications during the periods in she worked in Denizli and Izmir. Proving herself in a short time, Paköz was invited to the country by the committee established by Qatar for the "2022 World Cup" organization. Paköz, who met with the authorities in Qatar for three months and was interviewed many times online, successfully passed all the processes. Paköz, who went to Qatar on January 30, joined the team and started working.
“IT WILL GIVE ME EXPERIENCE AND STRENGHT”
Expressing that being invited to Qatar for a very important organization like the World Cup honored her, Paköz said, “The World Cup is a very important event, followed by millions of people, where a football feast will take place. Overseeing such an important program design, the host country to being invited by the host country Qatar and representing Turkey in this multinational team, is a very special feeling of pride. While I was studying at the university, one of my goals was to take part in big events abroad and represent my country successfully. Thanks to my professors, I took important steps to achieve this goal as soon as I graduated, and I think I have steered my career. This committee determines design team by selecting among hundreds. They trusted me and invited me. My experience here will add strength to me in every sense.”
