Our paths crossed with Izmir University of Economics in 2013 thanks to the Executive MBA program I studied. I can say that the fact that the program has up-to-date content for the business world and that the other students participating in the program have different sectors and experiences had a serious impact on my career.

The four years I spent at Izmir University of Economics have been one of the turning points in my career. In 2017, I graduated from the Department of English Translation and Interpreting and taught academic English for a few years to improve my language skills. Afterwards, I worked for a China-based company for a different experience and developed my international business skills.

When I started my undergraduate education in Department of Aerospace Engineering at Izmir University of Economics, I didn't realize that I was stepping into an ecosystem that broadens one's vision and develops students both academically and personally, rather than just an engineering program.

I started my academic life as one of the first students of the university in 2001. Throughout our education life, we have had valuable teachers who have a reputation in their own fields, worked in certain areas of business and taught us to open every door. Izmir University of Economics is a turning point in my life, where I assumed the presidency of the student council in 2005-2006, and in the following years, where I took part in the management of the alumni association for a few years.
