As Izmir University of Economics Alumni Relations Office, we continue alumni information update activities to strengthen our communication with you, our esteemed alumni. By expanding the scope of what we regularly do every year, we decided to conduct a survey this year to have more information about you and to learn about your expectations about the University.

The information requested by you in the survey will be used to support our graduates for career planning, to monitor graduate success, and to create an alumni network. In addition, they will be maintained by the Alumni Relations Office to support education, teaching and research studies and research on social, cultural, and academic activities of the University. Courses I took were matching the character of my profession since I was interested in economics at an earlier age because of our family business as jeweler. During my leisure times I worked part-time at our family business “Bülent Maro Mücevherat”. I needed to get ready for work life as a second generation representative.

I graduated from 'Tourism and Hotel Management' as an Honor Student and Top Student in the Department in 2006. The experience I gained in the Anemon Hotels group, where I worked while I was studying, opened the doors of The Marmara Hotel in Istanbul - Taksim as soon as I graduated. After working there for a year, I left my job to work in a chain hotel in the Alps of Switzerland.
