After graduating from Dokuz Eylul University Computer Programming department in 2014, I started the Department of Software Engineering at Izmir University of Economics with DGS transfer exam. With the preparatory education I received in the first year, I completed the program in 5 years. Prior to the last semester, I had an internship experience as a software developer in a software company at IYTE TeknoPark. Two months after my graduation, I started working as a PEGA Decisioning Architect at Bentego and as an Outsource consultant at Vodafone. In my professional life I have not put my personal development on the back burner; I increased my competencies and certificates. I have completed my 2nd year as of this month.

During this process, I undertook many internships and participated in various programs and conferences to explore different areas. Each experience further shaped my interests. In particular, a valuable speaker I listened to at a conference significantly influenced my career path.

After graduating from the Department of Sociology of Izmir University of Economics as "High Honor Student" in 2016, I got a full scholarship from the Federal Republic of Germany. Equipped with a balanced combination of theory and practice, the curriculum of the Department of Sociology of Izmir University of Economics provided incredible conveniences in my education abroad. The 6-month scholarship I received at the Department of Social and Cultural Sciences, Fulda University, Germany with the Erasmus program, has changed my understanding of science and modernity fundamentally.

In my first year at Izmir University of Economics, I started to improve myself not only academically but also socially by taking advantage of the numerous opportunities that the school has offered. When I was working at the Student Affairs unit of the University, I visited high schools in different cities with our esteemed educators and represented our school. I added another language to my resume by improving my German education, which started in high school, at the University. I did volunteer work in well-known institutions such as Izmir Chamber of Commerce, International Cotton Advisory Committee, Aegean Exporters' Associations.
