I got into Izmir University of Economics Department of International Trade and Finance with full scholarship in 2013. I worked part time in different departments of the school starting from the 1st grade. During my undergraduate education, I tried to participate as much as possible in the career events and conferences of our own school, as well as the events organized by other universities. In this way, I had the chance to meet different people in the business world and to observe different points of view. In the fall semester of the 3rd grade, I received a 5-month undergraduate education at Budapest Metropolitan University with the Erasmus Exchange Program. In 4th grade, I had the year opportunity to represent my school with my teammates at the CFA Research Challenge across Turkey, which I believe is important for the of finance students. During the competition, I understood how valuable the theoretical information we received at school is in the business world. I was accepted into a long-term internship at the Controlling Department of Whirlpool Corporation before graduation. After 3 months of internship, I joined the Ernst and Young (E&Y) Audit team as an Audit Assistant in October 2018, which I am very happy and proud to be in. After 1.5 years of experience in the audit sector, I am currently working as a Cost Controller in the Corendon Airlines Budget Reporting department. Being a graduate of Izmir University of Economics continues to make me feel proud in my business life as well.
