I went to the university with love and desire to learn, especially thanks to the support of my teacher Gazihan Alankuş and the projects we worked on together. Also, the courses helped me understand what is at the heart of software development and what I will face in my career path. During my education, we also had the opportunity to make projects together by receiving scholarships within the scope of Tübitak project. This experience taught me how to work as a team. In our graduation project, we got involved with virtual reality and virtual reality glasses were required to present the project. The University supported us; these expenses were covered by the University. I would like to express my gratitude for all of that.

2015 - Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Graduate
I entered this program, which was my first choice, as a full scholarship holder. I successfully passed the preparatory exam in 2011 and started my freshman year when I was only 17. I started to work as a freelance interior designer since 2012. In the third year of my undergraduate education, I decided to spend a semester at the University of Sheffield Hallam in England with the Erasmus agreement IUE is included in. After studying a semester here, I completed the 3rd grade at IUE. That summer, I performed my internship as an interior designer at an architectural firm in Sheffield and took part in large-scale hospital projects. At the same time, by continuing my freelance works, I completed many interior architecture projects in Russia, China, America and England.

2019 - Computer Engineering Graduate
Upon completing my primary and secondary education in Montenegro with the highest honors, both due to my sport achievements and active contributions to the society through work with the local NGOs and United Nations in Montenegro, I have received scholarships from multiple universities around the world. After a lot of thinking, my decision was to accept the Izmir University of Economics’ international scholarship and enroll into the department of Computer Engineering in 2014. Little did I know that this would be one of the best decisions of my life. During my time in Turkey, inside and outside of the IUE campus, I had the chance to meet people from all around the world, make life-lasting friendships, and grow both personally and professionally.

2014 - Public Relations and Advertising Graduate
Life at university is nothing compared to high school or anything else. When I chose Izmir University of Economics in 2009, I asked myself if I made the right decision. 5 years were ahead of me to see if I made the right decision or not. I’ve always tried my best at Izmir University of Economics and became a successful student. I did not qualify for any scholarships when I first enrolled at school but my hard work paid off and I qualified for 50% merit scholarship. In addition to courses in Public Relations and Advertising, I’ve taken many other electives from variety of fields including Business and Software Engineering.

2020 - Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Graduate
I started my undergraduate education at Izmir University of Economics, Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design in 2015.
The biggest advantage of Izmir University of Economics for me was that the courses were taught in English and we had a second foreign language option.
During my education, I gained different experiences and connections thanks to my valuable interior architect-architect professors, which was a great chance.
