I have squeezed 2 diplomas, 4 internships, 9 short films, 14 theater plays and hundreds of good memories into my Izmir University of Economics adventure that started in 2012. I graduated from the Department of International Relations and EU with a full scholarship in 2017, and from the Department of Media and Communication (my double major program) in 2018 as a high honor student. I bid farewell to my beloved theater club, where I spent 6 years since the prep class, on the stage as the club president; I can say that this was my hardest graduation. After graduation, I had 2 years of work experience in Turkish Airlines and approximately 1 year in Borsa Istanbul Group. Also, I started a master's program with thesis in Asian Studies at Boğaziçi University as of last year. After my experiences from different disciplines in business life, I turned over a new page in my career as a Communication Specialist at the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization as of September 2021. As an International Relations student, I can say that doing a Double Major in the Department of Media and Communication was one of the best decisions I have made in my life. The foreign language education, social activities, and technical facilities offered by the University, such as and the use of studios and equipment, especially for the Media Communication department, were of great help in business life. Finally, I would like to thank all my professors for their support both during my education and after graduation.
