Please note that students, who participate in at least 5 events in the Online Alumni Chats series, will be given a certificate of participation.

I never taught about leaving Izmir after I graduated from high school. I wanted to attend a high-quality university to help me steer my future in the right direction and keep my current lifestyle intact. Izmir University of Economics served this purpose perfectly. I graduated in 2007 from a university which helped me build rock-solid friendships in addition to providing me with extensive knowledge and experience very much needed for my career.

2017 - Child Development Graduate
After completing the child development and education department in high school in 2015, I learned that Izmir University of Economics offered child development program that year and I qualified to enroll in child development program with a full scholarship. In 2017, I graduated from my school as a high honor student, and top student in the program.

2015 - Banking and Insurance Graduate
I graduated from Banking and Insurance Program in 2015. With the aim of improving my general knowledge after graduation, I improved myself by touring around Turkey and world and reading research results and works in many areas such as art, history, and literature for three years

2014 - Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering Graduate
I graduated from Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Izmir University of Economics in 2014. As soon as I graduated, I started my master at Electrical and Electronics Engineering Master's Program with Thesis and started working as a research assistant in the department. I am currently working as a research assistant at Izmir Institute of Technology and doing a PhD in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. Ever since I started my major, I wanted to integrate my interest in biology and chemistry with my engineering knowledge.
Simge Tekin Satıcıöz
2016 - Psychology Graduate
I graduated from Izmir University of Economics, Department of Psychology as an honor student. Thanks to the international perspective that my school brought me, and my identity as a researcher to follow different cultures continuously, I started working in the field I wanted in a short time. During this time, both my professors and career guidance center had undeniable and valuable contributions.
