2006 - Tourism and Hotel Management Graduate
I graduated from 'Tourism and Hotel Management' as an Honor Student and Top Student in the Department in 2006. The experience I gained in the Anemon Hotels group, where I worked while I was studying, opened the doors of The Marmara Hotel in Istanbul - Taksim as soon as I graduated. After working there for a year, I left my job to work in a chain hotel in the Alps of Switzerland.
Murat Can Karagöz
2017 - International Trade and Finance Graduate
I spent 4 months in Florida, USA with the WAT program, after completing the foreign language courses I had to complete for the Department of International Trade and Finance, which I attended very fondly and willingly in 2012. When I started my education in the department, I pursued the opportunities to study abroad and in the 3rd grade I studied at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (SWPS University) in Warsaw, Poland for a semester.
Mustafa Tayyar Uğur
2012 - Business Administration Graduate
Year 2007 summer and the last days of the university preference period. Frankly, I remember that I came to Izmir with the suggestions of my two older sisters who were very successful in their careers and school life and who lived in Izmir during the years when I approached private school with a very biased way. They were the first to recommend Izmir University of Economics to me. When I came to the university for the first time, we encountered its orange emblem and brick walls.
2009 - Architecture Graduate
I graduated from Izmir University of Economics, Department of Architecture in 2009. After graduation, I participated in a 5-month Sustainable Building Consulting program in San Francisco, USA with a scholarship. When I returned to Turkey, I got my LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) accreditation and started working at ALAN Project in Istanbul.
2019 - Footwear Design and Manufacturing Graduate
The Footwear Design and Manufacturing Program, which I chose willingly in 2017 and got into with a 100% scholarship, was one of the best decisions I made for my future. Thanks to the university's facilities, the workshops, fashion shows, "Students Consulting Experts" events, entrepreneurship courses and fairs helped us strengthen our bond with the industry, analyze the market and manage customer relations.
